Westin Nova Scotia

The 2009 Conference Hotel is the Westin Nova Scotia. The “Nova Scotian” opened its doors on June 23, 1930 and was considered to be reminiscent of grand hotels seen all over the world and one of its kind in Eastern Canada. Now the Westin Nova Scotian Halifax Hotel, it has just completed an $8 million renovation to all guest rooms and hallways.

The hotel is located downtown, close to shopping, exciting nightlife, historic attractions, and numerous restaurants via the hotel’s complimentary shuttle or by foot. There is an indoor pool and fitness center, featuring the WestinWORKOUT®.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Westin Nova Scotian for CALL delegates. Standard rooms are at the rate of $189.00 for single or double occupancy. Room rates are subject to 13% HST and 2% marketing levy. All guest rooms in the CALL block will receive complimentary in-room internet access.

For reservations call toll free 1-877-993-7846 or locally 1-902-496-8585 or by fax at 1-902-425-2717. Callers must identify themselves as attending the “Canadian Association of Law Libraries” conference to ensure they receive the appropriate rate and are included in the guest room block.
All registrants are required to make their own accommodation arrangements directly with the hotel. Any unbooked rooms will be released for general sale Wednesday April 22, 2009.
