Deluxe Historic Halifax City Tour (Saturday)
Tour will run from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pick up and drop off will be at the Westin.

Mahone Bay & Lunenburg Tour (Saturday)
Tour will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Pick up and drop off will be at the Westin.

Join a kilted guide in “New Scotland” for an enchanting tour of Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. Tales of rum running, ship building and the legend of Oak Island will entertain you on your way to Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunenburg is home to Nova Scotia’s largest fishing fleet, Lunenburg Academy, extraordinary architecture, supreme shops and more. While there, take a walking tour of the town or visit the Fisheries Museum. From Lunenburg, continue with a drive to Mahone Bay, famous for its churches along the shore and its picturesque beauty. There will be plenty of time for exploring these remarkable seaside towns.

Opening Reception, Sponsored by CCH Canadian
Sunday, 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m.

The opening reception, with the generous sponsorship of CCH will be held at Pier 21, www.pier21.ca , Canada’s Immigration Museum. For many Canadians, Pier 21 was their introduction to a new country. The museum is in a renovated shed that served as the entry point to Canada for many immigrants and sits on a harbour pier. As well as wonderful food and drink, you will have an opportunity to view the museum.

Awards lunch, Sponsored by Carswell, a Thomson Reuters business
Monday, 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.

The Awards lunch, generously sponsored by Carswell, will be held in the Kenneth Rowe Heritage Hall at Pier 21. This is a short walk from the hotel and will feature a delicious lunch, the honouring of many fellow CALL members and a special luncheon speaker “Mr. Nova Scotia Know It All”. Rumour has it your sides may be aching after listening to him.

Banquet, Sponsored by LexisNexis
Tuesday, 6:30 p.m.- 12:00 a.m.

Welcome to the down home Nova Scotia Kitchen party!

We have many plans in the works for the banquet and thanks to the generous sponsorship of LexisNexis, we think it will be a wonderful event. Our venue, Cunard Centre, is close to the hotel and on the Halifax harbour.

Lobster will be served as the main course (unless the price goes through the roof) with a steak or vegetarian alternative.

Dance to music provided by a Celtic band throughout the evening and be entertained by artists who will showcase the rich diversity of Nova Scotia’s performing arts.

By the way, don’t forget your spoons !!
