We’re pleased to announce that CALL/ACBD is now accepting applications to present at our 2024 Annual Conference in Montreal.

This year, the CPC has selected the theme Languages of Law, a theme encompassing both trends we are seeing in law librarianship right now as well as persistent challenges in the field. Some of the potential topics we are looking to hear about include: large language models and artificial intelligence, accessible law, decolonization, interactions between common law and civil law, and how libraries are grappling with new language laws across the country.

Nous sommes heureux de vous annoncer que l’appel à communications pour le congrès annuel 2024 de CALL/ACBD est maintenant ouvert.

Cette année, le Comité du programme a choisi le thème « Langages du droit », un thème qui englobe à la fois les tendances observées actuellement dans les bibliothèques de droit ainsi que les nombreux défis rencontrés dans notre domaine. Nous recherchons des propositions qui abordent notamment : les grands modèles de langage, l'intelligence artificielle, l’accessibilité à la justice, la décolonisation, les interactions entre le droit civil et la common law et comment les bibliothèques font face aux nouvelles lois linguistiques à travers le pays.
