University of Toronto Press is the recipient of the 2015 Hugh Lawford Award for Excellence in Legal Publishing for its publication of the Osgoode Society for Canadian Legal History book series, acknowledging the commitment to excellence that has resulted in 35 unbroken years of publishing in a subject area not otherwise well-covered, with an average publication of two titles a year, all of which are readable, interesting, and informative, and whose contents can be easily accessed through well-structured tables of contents and in-depth indexing. The award was presented on Monday evening, May 4 at the CALL/ACBD conference in Moncton.
